Charlie Hebdo embodied one thing. Extravagant Free Speech. This was defended by muslims, christians, catholics, and the lot of religions in France. When extreme terrorists take what he said personally they unleashed a fierce concern throughout Paris and throughout the world. It is important and critical that we defend the freedoms to express ideas and keep our minds free. Coming from a conservative view and a libertarian view we need to embody the values of a society that will not feel threatened by the violence of the extreme. Violence does not solve these problems with radical islam. It creates more islamaphobia and yes the entire religion gets questioned when these events occurs. Everyone watching the news recently saw the dramatic shootout to kill the terrorists.
I imagine since France is now using their air force to help Americans, Islamic extremists are taking note and targeting french sites.
